Core Responsibilities:

• Support consistent quality standards while respecting each hospital's individual culture
• Collaborate with existing Medical Directors to enhance medical protocols
• Assist with recruitment and development of new Associate DVMs
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and resource optimization between hospital teams
• Support clinical excellence through collaborative quality improvement initiatives
• Provide mentorship and guidance when requested by clinical team members
• Work with regional leadership on strategic initiatives and growth opportunities
• Represent our hospital group at industry events when appropriate

Ideal Candidate:

• Licensed veterinarian in California with 5+ years of clinical experience
• Previous Medical Director or leadership experience
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities
• Ability to balance standardization with respect for established practices
• Strategic thinker with a team-oriented approach
• Willingness to travel between hospital locations as needed
